About Instructor
Meet Alison L. Miller
Alison L. Miller, MSN, RN-BC, is the owner of PMHRN, LLC and your instructor for all four sections of PMHRN's ANCC Exam Prep Master Course. She's been an RN for more than 38 years and has specialized in psychiatric nursing for close to 30 years. ​
She earned her BSN at Eastern Michigan University and took her first RN job at Chicago's Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center on a cardiac step-down unit. After realizing she was more interested in how patients were coping with their cardiac problems than she was in the cardiac problems themselves, she switched to psychiatric nursing and earned her master's degree in adult psychiatric nursing at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
